Reindeer Juice Boxes

I wanted to make something cute for Pirates classmates at school.

I love seeing all the Root beer bottles or pop bottles made up to look like Reindeer's.

I thought, why can't I make up juice boxes to look like a Reindeer?

I gently pulled the straws off the back of the juice boxes before I taped the antlers to the back and covered them with brown construction paper. Then with a couple dots of hot glue on the back of the straw and added it back to the juice box.

Then with a glue gun, glue the red pom pom on for the nose and 2 google eyes on.

And there you have it! A cute little treat for your Sugar Plums.

New Years Countdown Bags

I made these fun little countdown bags last year. The kids loved them!
Starting at 8:00, I made a bag for each hour until midnight. In each bag there were goodies for the kids.

Check out how I made them HERE.

I can't believe it has been a year since I started this little blog! It has flew by. I still consider myself to be a newbie when it comes to blogging. There is so much I still need to learn.

It also has been a crazy year. I had hoped to blog a little more but life's little speed bumps do not stop to let me blog.

So I hope next year I can squeeze in a little more time crafting and blogging.
Thank you to all the followers that have stuck around this past year.

I very much enjoy the blogging world. Finding and sharing so many wonderful projects, ideas and recipes with everyone. I have been amazed and inspired by lots and lots of people in the blogging world. Thank you! Also thank you to everyone that has shared such sweet comments in the past year.

So here's to another year of Bloggy Goodness!

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!

Elf News

The other day, we received a knock at our front door. On our front step was our new edition to our Elf family.

Candy is her name.
My kids were over the moon with joy to find a new elf. They were so puzzled to find her on our front steps. How did she get there? They had thought up all kinds of theories and how she appeared there. From Santa dropping her off and leaving to the mailman stopping by. I had just missed her arrival. I was running some errands. I always miss the good stuff ;)

This is what we came home to after school the other day. Our newest elf was watching some holiday movies with our other elf, Sneaky.

They had helped themselves to popcorn and some mint cookies.

They were enjoying Merry Madagascar and Christmas with the Kranks.

Let us know some of your Elf Adventures.

Family Holiday Traditions

This is a fun Holiday tradition my kids enjoy.

Our Santa Elf's visit us around Thanksgiving ever year. They stay with us until Christmas Eve.

They are supposed to keep a eye on us to make sure we are being GOOD this year and report back to Santa on Christmas Eve.

Most the time the Elf's are the ones not being so GOOD! They like to do all kinds of crazy things through the night.

From climbing the Christmas tree, getting into some candy, watching some Christmas movies, to making Holiday messes. They are always up to something.

We will keep you posted on the crazy activities our Elf's are up to this year.

Here is our newest elf in the bunch. He gets into everything! When we first found him, he was in our Christmas tree taking all the candy canes.

This little guy got himself stuck in one of the decorations.

I might just have to contact Santa to let him know my children have been good but the elves need to be put on the Naughty list.

Here's Grumpy, he just sits on the shelf.

The kids even caught Twinkle and Goldie reading Christmas books in the beanbag chair.

Twinkle hanging out with some decorations.

Hope everyone enjoyed one of our little Holiday traditions that my family enjoys!
