I found some wonderful inspiration and ideas Here.
And I got to work making my apothecary jars.
And I got to work making my apothecary jars.
I went to the Thrift Store to see if I could find something I could use and I found these little baby's. The jars with lids were 99 cents each and the glass candlestick's were 59 cents each. Woo Hoo! I like them kind of prices. Before I started I washed the jars and candlesticks and removed any stickers.
Let dry completely.
Then I used Gorilla Glue to glue the pieces together. I applied a thin layer of glue around the rim of the candlestick and attached it to the bottom of the jar.I just followed the directions on the glue. This was the first time I used Gorilla Glue.
It worked very well!
Let the glue dry completely.
That's it for the jars! Very easy,Very pretty decoration for any room of your house.

I bought a couple packages.
I even saved the sticks for a future project.
Then I just add the hearts to the jar.
* I am also linking over at Finding Fabulous for less for her Frugalicious Friday.*

Thanks for stopping by my blog- so glad you liked the tutorial! I love this apothecary jar idea. I've been wanting some too, but can't find any I like for a reasonable price either. Maybe I'll give this a try!
Love these! I bought some of those hearts at the Dollar Store yesterday for a wreath, never thought about putting them in a jar. Brillant!
I included you on my Fri Favorites list!

These are great! Lids, too? You did good! I saw glass candlesticks at my Goodwill last weekend but they wanted more than the dollar store, so I passed on those.
i've seen this done a couple of times - i am going to have to give it a try - i love the finished look!
