New Baby Gift

I love making these little bouquets to bring to the hospital for the new parents or new Mom. Its a gift they can actually enjoy.

The first item you will need is some kind of planter, mug or basket.

I found this cute mug at the Thrift store for 59 cents. I would check the Thrift store first because they always seem to have baby planters there.

Then you need a variety of goodies:

Candy

Hand sanitizer

Lotion

Chap stick

etc...

What ever you think they would like in the gift.

Then you need a floral foam and some shredded paper.

Insert the foam into the mug, planter or basket.

For my mug I had to shave the top of the foam with a knife to fit inside.

Then I took some regular gift tape and taped the edges of the candy down.

Then turn all your gift items over.

Attach the Popsicle sticks to the back of the items with regular gift tape.

Then with a variety of scrapbook paper and stickers I wrapped the gift items

Double stick tape works great attaching the paper to the items.

You can keep adding layers with the scrapbook paper and add a sticker.

You can also use some ribbon.

Once your finished with all the items. You can insert them into the floral foam.

Once you have them placed the way you would like add some suckers around the bottom.

The suckers help hold everything in place.

When the suckers have been added. Add some shredded tissue around the bottom to cover any open spaces.
And your Done!

A cute New Baby Gift for your loved ones.

that is so sweet of you - do you drop them off or deliver them yourself? that is really such a cute idea! i am presently rallying up my girls to make valentines to deliver to a nursing home - first time trying this with them but hoping they'll get in the spirit once we are there to deliver. love doing good things for other people - such a good feeling, isn't it?

Thanks! I am glad you liked the idea. I love making them.
It is a great feeling making something special for someone. What a wonderful idea to make some for a nursing home! We take the gift to the hospital when we visit.
Good Luck with your gifts. I hope you and your girls enjoy making them.
